California Worker’s Compensation Defense

This involves any claims that may arise out of or in the course and scope of a worker’s employment. This includes specific injuries, cumulative trauma claims and occupational injuries. Mr. Lopez defends employers and their insurance carriers/third party administrators to ensure the worker receives those benefits to which they may be entitled, but more importantly, ensures that any attempt to extend the benefits excessively, or raise claims which have no merit, are quickly and thoroughly investigated. In the defense of State claims, Mr. Lopez also defends claims where a worker may seek further compensation such as raising claims of Serious and Willful Misconduct and raising claims of discrimination under Labor Code,Section 132a. These too require immediate and thorough investigation to ensure prompt and immediate resolution without unnecessary litigation and expense.
