Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Philosophy from Fresno State University.
Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Philosophy from Fresno State University. After graduation, Kelly attended Whittier Law School where she received her Juris Doctorate. Kelly served as a Senior Editor on Law Review and graduated in the top 20% of her class. As a law student, Kelly externed with the City of Los Angeles, City Attorney’s office, assisting in civil matters involving the defense of police brutality claims.
Upon graduation of law school, Kelly began her legal career with the firm of Grancell, Lebovitz, Stander and Rubens, where she focused on public entity defense and representation of self-insured employers for the next eight years.
Kelly is a seasoned litigator and has exclusively practiced Workers’ Compensation matters, including matters that have resulted in the prosecution for insurance fraud while working closely with the District Attorney. Kelly also litigated a successful Writ with the 4th District of the Court of Appeals where the Appellate Court found that a fireman/claimant exhausted the Statue of Limitations when filing a cancer claim. Kelly has been litigating workers’ compensation cases for over 20 years, and has an impressive record of Take Nothings.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Rylan.
